Moments

 Relationships are moments. Sometimes, you'll get a 3 month moment with someone, and other times, you'll get a 60 year moment. And when that moment ends, let it. When that person leaves, let them. Don't force anything. Stop focusing on when the moment is going to end and how scary and painful it will be, and just relish the moment while it lasts. And this goes for all good things, places,experiences and life itself. I am so thankful for so many different kinds and lengths of moments.

Life is funny

Life is funny, you meet people unexpectantly and the connection you have with them impact you more than people you see every day, you think you know what you want and what your path to your life purpose is but life has other plans and detours for you, you think you know the people who will stay and be your forever people and then some leave but then new people come along, your feelings are so strong that you think they will last forever but things change or you let someone go and think your feelings will stop but then you end up always caring about them and wishing them well, maybe everything is going great and then something goes wrong, but then better things come along. And maybe no matter how things end up, you wouldn't take anything back because every experience was either a blessing or a lesson.

 The people who you meet along the way who made you smile especially so. Maybe the memories of strangers turning into friendships and rare connections is worth it. Maybe the grattitude for all of the experiences made, adventures had, shanigans that lead to trouble but end up making great stories to tell, deep talks and advice given as well as a shoulder to cry on and hug when needed, and laughter shared are  priceless ...But not any old laughter the kind of laugh that makes you cry or snort and you can't stop until you are not able to breathe laughter and it starts all over again when you look at them and realize how much you appreciate their existince type of laughter...well maybe all of that makes all of the rare connections made dispite if they don't last forever or change/ fade over time more  worth while than anything even if they take a piece of your heart with them when they go.

Life is funny, but I am so thankful for it all
